So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

Communion for the Divorced and Remarried: yes or no? Sheep and Goats.

The following two lists are not meant to be exhaustive. Rather, those who belong to each club are exemplars of the orientation suggested by the title of each list.

UPRIGHT SHEEP (Upholders of the teaching of Jesus Christ)

DISHONOURABLE GOATS (Deniers of the teaching of Jesus Christ)

Bishops of Buenos Aires (the best in sophistry!)

By comparing the teachings of other clergy and laity to the representative statements of those listed above (click on linked text), we can either draw near to a teacher if his teaching is orthodox or avoid a teacher if his teaching is sewage. In the case of those belonging to the former category, i.e., the faithful, we should pray that God may grant faithful teachers every grace they need to withstand negative criticism and that God may grant them the grace to flourish in their witness to the Truth. In the case of those belonging to the latter category, the deniers of Christ's teaching, we should pray that God may provide them opportunities to re-examine their false conclusions and to repent of the damage their false teaching has done/is doing.

Any comment that 1) offends human dignity and/or 2) which constitutes an irrational attack on the Catholic Faith will not go unchallenged. If deemed completely stupid, such a comment will most assuredly not see the light of day. Them's the rules. Don't like 'em? Move on.
